Prof. Dr. Agnes Förster holds the chair for Planning Theory and Urban Development at the RWTH Aachen University. She graduated in Architecture at the TU Munich and EPFL Lausanne and worked as a research associate in an interdisciplinary team at the TU Munich. In her research she focuses on the design and effects of communicative planning methods from the scale of the city quarter up to region. She is head of the urban research and design studio ‘STUDIO | STADT | REGION’ in Munich and member of an international network on Regional Design in cooperation with the University of Florence and TU Delft.
