The revitalization of the city of Stolberg after the flood disaster in 2021 requires innovative approaches and creative solutions. In this context, students of Transforming City Regions has been working intensively on the historic city center of Stolberg. The students have applied the design strategies they have learned to develop concepts that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also strengthen disaster resilience. The focus was on practical solutions that are directly tailored to the city’s real problems.
